The Adirondack Review is seeking good writing in German and French to add to the literary diversity of the magazine that these two important world languages and their respective cultures provide.
TAR is committed to publishing poetry in English language, but also French and German, either in the form of translations or original poetry. Short fiction is also welcome.
When sending translations of Francophone or Germanic writers, please include a note about the author(s), as well as the original text with your submission. Please also include a short bio for yourself, as along with permission from either the author or publisher to have your translation published. Pictures of the author and/or translator are welcome, but not required.
All translation submissions should include permission from the author or publisher. For general information on submitting your work to TAR, please also see our submission guidelines.
For samples of translations and original French or German poetry published in TAR, see the Translation Archives.
