Poetry

Please submit 2-7 single-spaced poems with a brief bio. Also, please include your last name and the date of your submission in the subject of your email. (For example: Doe Submission 1-1-10). We do not publish previously published work and discourage simultaneous submissions. The Adirondack Review acquires first rights for publication. Upon publication, rights revert to the author/artist. The Adirondack Review reserves the right to reprint work at a later date if it is selected for inclusion in a print anthology. Please send poems in the body of your email, not as attachments.

Photography and Artwork

Please send up to seven images of your work in JPEG  format. We will query you based on the images therein. Artists retain all rights to their work.

Fiction

We like modern tales with a quality of timelessness: stories with realistic, powerful dialogue and dynamic characters.

Translations, Essays, and Interviews

The Adirondack Review considers essays on various topics. The editors are also interested in previously unpublished interviews with esablished poets, writers, and artists. On rare occaisons, the editors will consider interviews with new literary voices. TAR is also interested in translations of French or German poems or short stories. We also consider original work in these languages.
