ZACK ROSEN (1989-2019) was a musician, songwriter, poet, tireless activist and philosopher who worked artistically & politically in New York City. He has left us with prolific heaps of inspiration for how one may effect change. In-progress albums of his music & publications of his writing are forthcoming.
NO LAND is an artist, poet, and photographer. She was born in New York City where she currently lives and works. As a poet & vocalist, she has performed in collaborative works at Jazzfest Berlin, LaMaMa Galleria, The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Roulette Intermedium, the University of New Haven, & other venues throughout the east coast. In 2018, she released Authentic Artifice, an art-book of poetry and photographs, published by Newest York. Her photojournalistic work, archiving NYC artist & activist lineages, has been published by Levy Gorvy Gallery, The Brooklyn Rail, The Village Voice, The Indypendent, Bill Moyers, and others. She fled art school to learn from outrider poets, jazz musicians and hackers, first performing at Steve Cannon's Gathering of the Tribes Gallery on the LES. Her cinema work has been shown at Harvard University, Naropa University, The Entanglements Conference at Wake Forest University, and at Five Years Festival in London. In November 2018, her cinema-poem, Crepuscular, a collaboration with poet Anne Waldman, premiered at The Poetry Project alongside Fast Speaking Music, Thurston Moore, Janice Lowe, and others. She has been grateful to work closely with artists Daniel Carter, Heroes are Gang Leaders, Pat Steir, Joanna Mattrey, & other special spirits.
