"I had a great time and learned a decent amount of skills. There was enough structure so that I knew what tasks needed to be accomplished, and TAR gave me enough freedom and time in which to accomplish them.  The fact that I could do everything from school was a big plus. It is hard to find an internship in the publishing field if you are not located near a large city. I felt that the internship at The Adirondack Review fit my major perfectly, drawing on everything I had learned in class and allowing me to apply it to something outside the classroom.  I think that is the biggest plus for this internship. It really is ideally suited for English Lit and/or Creative Writing majors.  [T]his was a great experience and a great supplement to my major, especially during my last semester as an undergraduate. I really do not have anything negative to say about the internship.  I think that it is a great first step into the publishing field...great for people looking for a little experience."
