"When people tell me of the exotic trips they have taken across the country, or around the world, some of which I have had the good fortune to take as well, it is always to the Adirondacks that my heart returns."

Summer Writing Workshops at
The Woods Inn
The Adirondack Review Editor Diane Goettel will lead writing workshops at The Woods Inn for five weeks this summer. The Woods Inn, an historic Adirondack hotel, is located in Inlet, New York on beautiful Fourth Lake. From the first week of July through the first week of August, the three-hour workshops will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Because the workshops are intended for Adirondacks vacationers as well as residents, each workshop is intended to stand alone. Therefore, they will be just as valuable to people who intend to just take one or two as they are to those who will attend them for the entire five-week period.

In addition to being Editor of The Adirondack Review, Diane is a member of New York Writers Coalition, through which she teaches weekly writing workshops in Brooklyn. Diane is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied fiction writing and literature. She also spent a year studying writing at Wadham College of Oxford University.

For more information, or to sign up for a workshop, please contact The Woods Inn proprietors Jay and Joedda at 315-357-5300.
