We host two literary contests per year: the 46er Prize for Poetry and the Fulton Prize for Short Fiction. The winner of each contest receives $400 and publication.
The 46er Prize for Poetry is open annually from January 1 – February 28, with the winner being published in the summer issue.
The Fulton Prize for Fiction is open from July 1 – August 31, with the winner being published in the winter issue.
Please visit our submissions page for more information.
Thank you for your support!
Fun Fact: The Fulton Prize gets its name from the beautiful Fulton chain of lakes in the central Adirondacks. The 46er Prize refers to the 46 major peaks of the Adirondacks. Hikers who reach all 46 summits are deemed "46ers." #lifegoals
